Superhero Wall DecalGet a Crazy Big Decal!

If you aren’t the super artistic type then you should seriously think about a large wall decal. You get all the joy of a mural with almost no effort. You can go with a subtle 18’x18″ or all the way up to a 48″x48″ size on this one…the large one is amazing! What better way to trick out a way than with a enormous wall decal? I really like the neutral non specific super hero in it as well.

Trick out a Lamp Shade!

Trick out a Lamp Shade!A new drum lamp shade & a sharpie can really go far in this type of design! Add in some buildings, maybe a logo if your artsy…it doesn’t have to be perfect so don’t try to make the lines straight.

Tip – If you print out a logo you can simply tape it to the inside of the shade…once the light is one you can trace it quite easily. Be sure to remove the paper when your done.

Stuck with a baby blue lamp from the nursery days? If the lamp base doesn’t match then grab a can of spray paint…$4 will make it have an entirely different feel.

Super Hero Room – Start with the Walls

Super Hero Room

First you will need to strip down the room & fix any damage those little angels have done. You should fix up any holes before you paint (you have boys you know there will be holes!) this will give you a quick DYI fix. Once this is done, sanded & smooth it’s time to move onto the painting.

Here’s a guide to picking the right kind of paint. as for color…It’s really a personal choice. Any range of blue, yellow or green will match a bright action hero. A more subtle grey or lighter color will make the characters really stand out on the walls. Personally, I would go grey & do a skyline.

The graphic above has all the super hero Pantone colors so you won’t have to guess! You can thank this guy! He also has the evil villains colors listed on the site.
